Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Meriden in critical condition driver identified

MERIDEN — A woman remains hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Bee Street Tuesday night. The driver left the scene, but has been identified by investigators, police said in a statement Wednesday. The 26-year-old woman was listed in critical condition Wednesday at Hartford Hospital, according to the statement. The incident occurred around 11:17 p.m. Tuesday.
