Quincy to spend 2 million on sewer repairs add height to Adams Shore seawalls

QUINCY – City councilors this week approved $2 million in spending to repair storm water and sewer outfalls in Quincy and reconstruct thousands of feet of seawalls in the Adams Shore and Houghs Neck neighborhoods. The finance committee approved taking $1,995,000 from the sewer and drainage rehabilitation fund for two projects: $1 million for repair and reconstruction of 16 storm water and sewer outfalls throughout the city and $955,000 for final design and a portion of construction of Manet Avenue and Babcock Street seawall improvements.
