10000 homes remain without power the morning after storm in Jackson

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Nearly 10,000 homes remain without power in Jackson Township and First Energy Corp doesn’t know when power will be restored. Roads in town remain closed with downed powerlines and today, police are asking people the obvious. Don’t drive over downed power lines. The Jackson Police Department reported that vehicles were spotted driving through road blocks and across downed power lines. “We are aware the power is still out and it has been reported that over 9300 people are without power at this time.
