NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Interstate 95 Northbound remains closed due to a crash between exits 48 and 50 due to a crash between a tractor trailer and a vehicle.
The fire has since been extinguished, according to Troop G
Wreckers are currently working to get the truck removed from the barriers.
Serious injuries are being reported.
Northbound traffic is completely blocked, and is being diverted at exit 46 through Long Wharf.
Interstate 95 Southbound has one lane open.
Troopers I and F have left the scene and CT DOT has taken over the ramp closures.
