A peaceful day of No Kings protests across Oregon ends with a show of force in Portland Oregon Public Broadcasting OPB

The Portland Association of Teachers formally began their strike Wednesday morning. Signs carried messages such as: “Our children can’t wait!” “On strike for safe schools,” and “Class size matters.”

The states Democratic governors offered few specifics Wednesday as to how they hope the Western Health Alliance could influence which vaccines will be available in their states.

In Oregon alone, dozens of “Hands Off” events are planned, from Gold Beach to Astoria, to Hood River, Enterprise, Redmond and Klamath Falls.
