New website to share destination management progress launched by Hawaii Tourism Authority Travel And Tour World

The Hawai’i Tourism Authority (HTA) has launched its new website “Holomua,” which will serve as an online forum for sharing collective updates and progress on each of its community-based Destination Management Action Plans (DMAPs). The DMAPs are part of the Hawaii Tourism Authority’s larger effort to balance tourism’s advantages with community needs, regulate visitor effects in high-traffic regions, and safeguard Hawai’i’s natural and cultural resources.
