ALBANY — The man who killed a pedestrian while driving drunk was sentenced Tuesday to five to 15 years in state prison, Albany County prosecutors said.
In January, Jose Guevara-Bonilla, 27, of Albany, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide. On Oct. 24, he lost control of his car, went onto the sidewalk and hit Larry Cunningham, 62, of Albany. He kept driving; Cunningham was found dying on the sidewalk. The crash happened on Third Avenue in Albany, the district attorney’s office said.
