SKOWHEGAN – John Burns, 78, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2023, at the Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan with his family by his side. He was born April 19, 1944, in North Anson, the son of Harry. A Burns and Mildred I. (Pomelow) Burns. He was educated in Maryland and in Madison. John enjoyed family, fishing, his dog, and spending time with his friend, Vern.
