Ann Arbor eyes big payout in opioid legal settlements with Walmart CVS others
ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor is expecting a sizable monetary payout from more legal settlements in national opioid litigation against drug makers and pharmacy chains. City Council voted unanimously Monday night, April 3, to approve the city’s participation in 2022 settlements of cases against pharmacy chains CVS and Walgreens and opioid manufacturers Allergan and Teva.
