Arizona transfer Kerr Kriisa picks West Virginia over Nebraska
LINCOLN — Nebraska men’s basketball missed out Wednesday on one of the point guard transfers in the portal when Kerr Kriisa, who left Arizona in late March, picked West Virginia over the Huskers. Kriisa led the Pac-12 in the assists and immediately became one of NU’s top targets in the portal. Nebraska hosted him on a visit, as did West Virginia. Ultimately, Kriisa announced his selection of the Mountaineers, who are coached by Bob Huggins and recently lost to Maryland in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
