Back from broken elbow Jack Ritchie expected to play a big role for BR baseball team

BRIDGEWATER — The victory song “Dirty Water” blared from the speakers as dusk approached and Bridgewater-Raynham baseball players raked the infield and gathered their gear to head home. Wearing a checkered, silver and black sport coat with his backpack slung on his back, Jack Ritchie was easily the best dressed among the group. “It’s a Player-of-the-Game jacket,” Ritchie said with a chuckle. “We have to wear it to school the next day.” It was a well deserved honor for the right-handed junior pitcher after Ritchie polished off B-R’s six-inning 15-4 rout of Plymouth South on Wednesday with a one-hit showcase…
