MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — After three seasons leading the Martinsburg football program, Britt Sherman has stepped down from his position as head coach. Sherman’s resignation was discussed at the regularly scheduled Berkeley County Board of Education meeting Monday evening in Martinsburg. The meeting agenda states that Sherman’s resignation is set to take effect on June 1, 2023. It is unclear if Sherman may remain on staff in another role or may reapply for the position.
