Butte County pursuit ends with burglary arrest in Chico

BUTTE COUNTY, CALIF. — Deputies with the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) say they have arrested a man who supposedly burglarized a home before leading multiple agencies on a chase from Oroville to Chico. BCSO says they received reports of a burglary in progress near the 7300 block of Highway 99 in Oroville. Deputies responded to find a gray Chevy Avalanche driving north on Highway 99. They tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver reportedly refused to yield, prompting a pursuit.
