Chadwell leaves New Lex bench to be closer to family
NEW LEXINGTON — Jay Chadwell understood the challenge ahead when he became the head coach of the New Lexington girls five years ago. He helped the Panthers find success and built them into one of the area’s top teams, leading them to three Muskingum Valley League Small School Division titles and three sectional championships. However, family is a priority for Chadwell, who decided this was the right time to step away from the bench.
