Dealer who gave The Wire actor Michael K Williams fentanyllaced heroin pleads guilty
A dealer who gave heroin laced with fentanyl to actor Michael K Williams, causing his death, has pleaded guilty in a US court. The Wire actor Williams died in September 2021 at the age of 54. It was later found by the Medical Examiner that the star had died from acute intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl, p-fluorofentanyl, heroin and cocaine. Four people were charged in relation to his death in February last year, alleging the distribution of fentanyl-laced heroin that resulted in the actor’s death.
