NEWARK, NJ – Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, March 25, 2023. At approximately 9:42 PM, police responded to a business in the 500 block of Orange Street after receiving a report of an armed robbery. The suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun, and demanded cash before taking money from the cash register and fleeing the scene.
