Edinas Southdale Mall goes into lockdown after reports of shots fired
EDINA, Minn. – There were reports of shots fired Wednesday night at Southdale Center in Edina, with witnesses saying they were locked down inside the complex. Several police departments were called to the mall, and were seen outside several entrances, some of which were taped off. A WCCO News crew at the scene also saw plenty of people coming out of the mall periodically. At about 9:30 p.m., this announcement played over the PA system: “The emergency has passed.
