DURANT – The Oklahoma Historical Society recently presented an award to representatives of Southeastern Oklahoma State University and others who took part in the university’s “Fort Washita Rediscovery Project.” The project represented a collaboration with the Chickasaw Nation to create an “immersive virtual reality module” to make the historic site accessible to the greater public.
