Fulton girls track and field records four top10 finishes in Holt Invitational

WENTZVILLE — Fulton girls track and field tallied four top-10 finishes in the Holt Invitational Saturday at Holt High School.

Emmy Begemann achieved two of the Hornets’ top-10 placings and had Fulton’s two best finishes. She took sixth in the long jump (14 feet, 1.25 inches) and finished seventh in the triple jump (30-10.25).

Rounding out the top-10 finishes, the Hornets earned a pair of ninth-place performances. Heaven Hightower placed ninth in the 100-meter dash (13.81 seconds), and Kenzie Washington did so in the javelin (74-06).

Next, Fulton will participate in the Washington HS Meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Washington, Missouri.
