Garden Club of Springfield uplifts spirits of Ronald McDonald House families
SPRINGFIELD — Members of the Garden Club of Springfield worked their magic to bring a welcome sign of spring to the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. Lori-Anne Miller, assistant director of volunteers at Ronald McDonald House gratefully accepted the delivery of five large spring designs consisting of a variety of chrysanthemums, petite carnations, lilies, stock, and green ball dianthus embellished with whimsical birds, pussy willow, acuba, statis, and a bunny rabbit. The arrangements will be displayed in the lobby and community rooms. In addition, individual flowering deep pink kalanchoe plants will be placed on tables in the dining room. These…
