Girls Best of the Week Ridgedale softball starts season hot

MORRAL — Ridgedale showed it’s going to be formidable on the softball field again this year after rolling to a pair of run-rule victories to open its season in the Northwest Central Conference. The Rockets beat Hardin Northern 12-2 in five innings as Abigail Bridges struck out 10, walked two and allowed four hits and no earned runs, while at the plate hitting two doubles and a single for three RBI.
