Grains mostly higher Livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May gained 13.25 cents at $7.0325 a bushel; May corn rose 12.50 cents at $6.65 a bushel; May oats fell 9 cents at $3.5750 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 36.50 cents at 15.2525 a bushel. Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle was off .15 cent at $1.6787 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle lost 3.25 cents at $1.9812 a pound; Apr. lean hogs lost 1.10 cents at $.7470 a pound. Copyright 2023 The…
