HACKENSACK — A state Superior Court judge has dismissed a whistleblower lawsuit brought against the city’s Police Department, its director and department supervisors by a police lieutenant who alleged retaliation after he protested the director’s hiring. Lt. Anthony DiPersia claimed in the lawsuit that Raymond Guidetti, who was hired as police director in August, had overstepped his civilian role, in violation of state law.
