Hinton MMCRU square off at Deer Run Golf Course

HINTON — Course conditions around the area haven’t been the greatest, leading to several postponements of golf meets to begin the season. One exception on Monday was at Deer Run Golf Course where the Hinton golf teams hosted MMCRU in a War Eagle Conference contest. While conditions weren’t perfect, with overcast, cool and breezy conditions, at least the golfers were able to get out on the course. The Hinton boys came away with a 171-190 win on the day.
