HS Previews New Lex baseball has high aspirations
NEW LEXINGTON — It was a strong opening week for New Lexington, which expects to compete for the Muskingum Valley League Small School Division title. The Panthers went 2-1 in the first three MVL games under fourth-year coach Brad Morgan. But, they graduated a key player in Hunter Kellogg, who provided versatility and leadership for a 9-13 squad that defeated fourth seed Miami Trace in the sectional.
