CLEVELAND, Ohio — The sport of boys high school volleyball has been around a long time. Both St. Ignatius and Hudson have had teams for at least 15 years.
But things are different this year, because the Ohio High School Athletic Association has finally sanctioned boys volleyball and there will be an OHSAA state tournament in late May. In past years the state tournament was run by the Ohio High School Boys Volleyball Association.
When asked what the main difference is this year from past years, Hudson coach Larry Meehan smiled and said, “Now we get a bus.”
