HAL­LAN­DALE BEACH – Leg­endary Bar­ba­di­an jock­ey Patrick Hus­bands popped up at Gulf­stream Park in Flori­da, with three rides on Sat­ur­day but failed to find suc­cess. The 49-year-old, who turns 50 next month, fin­ished fifth in race one with 5-1 choice Mo Town May­hem and three from last in race two with 22-1 bet Arms. Hus­bands al­so came up short with 8-1 chance Souper Hoity Toity in the US$150 000 Sand Springs Stakes – one of 10 added-mon­ey races on the 14-race Curlin Flori­da Der­by card.
