SECOND MESA — Hopi councilman Mervin Yoyetewa walked into Gary Tso’s Hopi Grounds coffee shop on a cold March afternoon on Hopi Nation. He greets Tso, but doesn’t initially order coffee or any of the food items on the menu. Instead, Yoyetewa asks Tso if he is selling the popular “Don’t Worry Be Hopi” t-shirt.
