Judge overrules Texas countys book ban targeting LGBTQ race themes
AUSTIN, Texas – A federal judge in Austin, Texas has issued a preliminary injunction ordering Llano County officials to return all books they previously removed from shelves in the county’s library system. In the order filed Thursday, U.S. District Judge Robert Pitman also prohibited the county from removing any additional books while the court case is pending, and required the library system’s catalog to be updated to reflect that the books that were removed are again available.
