Life briefs Local farmer recognized Pioneer CTC honors new 4H officers
ST. LOUIS, MO — The National Corn Growers Association holds the National Corn Yield Contest to every year to recognize farmers from across the country for their efforts to adapt practices and adopt new technology that drive efficient and sustainable agricultural production. Among the farmers recognized this year is Carol Miller of Bucyrus. Miller placed second in the state in the D:No-Till Non-Irrigated Class with a yield of 295.4223 bushels per acre.
