BATON ROUGE – LSU baseball star Dylan Crews’ 26-game hitting streak came to an end on Tuesday. Crews went 0-for-2 with two walks in the Tigers’ 12-2 run-rule win over Nicholls State, popping out to second base in the first inning and grounding into a fielder’s choice in the fourth. However, Crews’ on-base streak is still alive. The star center fielder has gotten on base in all 29 of the Tigers’ games this season. Crews has been LSU’s best hitter this season.
