Man arrested in connection with fatal DUI crash in central Phoenix

PHOENIX — A man is in custody after a fatal crash late Thursday night in Central Phoenix. The arrest came three days after the accident that happened near 7th Avenue and Indian School Road. When officers got to the scene, they found a man with serious injuries. The man, who has been identified as 31-year-old Ramon Aaknes, died of his injuries at the hospital.
