WILMINGTON — Authorities sought the public’s help Monday to find the hit-and-run motorist they say left the scene of a pedestrian fatality in Wilmington. Paramedics sent to Pacific Coast Highway at Wilmington Boulevard about 5:20 a.m. Sunday pronounced the 52-year-old man dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Information on his identity was not immediately available. The man was walking north across PCH “against a solid red light, in a marked crosswalk” when he was hit by a Scion xB that was westbound on PCH, police said.
