Manhunt continues for suspect in armed bus robbery in DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that took place on Tuesday, in the 700 block of 8th Street, Southeast. At around 3:06 pm, the suspect approached the victim, both passengers on a circulator bus, brandished a handgun, and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied, and the suspect took money before exiting the bus and fleeing the scene. Images of the suspect were captured by a surveillance camera and have been released to the public.
