NAACP community groups demand accountability after SJPOA exec fentanyl bust
SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — A local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People joined other community groups for a press conference in San Jose on Wednesday afternoon. The groups are coming together in response to the federal criminal complaint filed against a leader of a local police union. Last week, the San Jose Police Officers Association Executive Director Joanne Segovia was charged in connection with importation of illegal opioids, including fentanyl.
