NORFOLK — Just days before the 2023 high school baseball season was to begin, Norview players learned they didn’t have a coach because of a holdup in the paperwork. Catcher James Sipe knew they needed a miracle to keep the season alive. He decided to ask the only other person he knew who could do the job.
