ASCENSION PARISH – An overturned semi-truck has been blocking an Ascension Parish highway for more than two hours and crews are still trying to clear the road.
According to the parish sheriff’s office, the accident happened around 12:30 p.m. along Highway 42 at Robert Denham Road. A picture shows the semi in the ditch, partially blocking one lane.
Law enforcement says drivers should expect delays in the area and use a different route if available.
