Painesville Railroad Museum hosting talk on Interurban Railroad

Apr. 3 — The Painesville Railroad Museum presents “History of the Cleveland, Painesville and Eastern Interurban Railroad” at 2 p.m. April 23.

Attendees can follow the tour from Cleveland through Lake County, including Will-O-Beach, to

Ashtabula, according to a news release. They can also learn about how Willoughby was the headquarters for the CPE.

This PowerPoint presentation will include over 100 pictures and maps.

This presentation will be in the 130-year-old Painesville Depot Train Station, 475 Railroad St., which was

one of the stops of the CPE.

Admission is free, but donations are accept and appreciated, the release stated.
