Police say PCs Alyn Breed illegally entered a home and pointed a gun at his girlfriend
PROVIDENCE — A Providence College junior who started eight games for the Friars this season remained in custody on Sunday after he was accused of pointing a gun at his girlfriend. Alyn Breed wielded the gun during an exchange with his girlfriend in an off-campus apartment early Saturday morning, according to Providence police Maj. David Lapatin. Breed, who was suspended from PC’s program late Saturday, will be held through the weekend prior to his appearance in District Court on Monday, Lapatin said.
