Porter County in talks on visitor center lease
VALPARAISO — Indiana Dunes Tourism has a new deal with the National Park Service that it hopes will keep the federal General Services Administration out of its hair. “We have a unique partnership that’s not too common in the U.S.,” Indiana Dunes Tourism President and CEO Lorelei Weimer said. The county owns the visitor center and leases a portion of it to the park service to promote Indiana Dunes National Park.
