JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Eagles won their home opener Monday, defeating the Pilot Grove Tigers 7-6.
Tate Duncan was the winning pitcher for Jamestown and also batted 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and an RBI.
Landen Allen finished 2-for-4 with a three-run home run for the Eagles.
Shayne Harlan was the winning pitcher, tossing 2⅓ innings of hitless relief.
Jamestown (2-4) hosts Tuscumbia today.
