SEDALIA — A seven-run first inning Monday propelled the Jefferson City Jays to a 10-7 victory against the Sedalia Smith-Cotton Tigers in Central Missouri Activities Conference action. Jefferson City sent 12 batters to the plate in the first inning, starting the scoring with a two-run single by Dylan Wallace. Brody Johns and Tripp Maassen also had RBI singles in the inning.
