Rogue bull captured euthanized in Staunton

STAUNTON — A rogue bull that escaped the Staunton Union Stock Yards on Saturday morning was finally caught and put down by authorities the following day, according to the Staunton Police Department. The bull reportedly injured one employee at the stockyard during its dash for freedom. The Staunton Police Department was contacted shortly before 9 a.m. on Saturday by the stockyard, which reported the bull was running at-large and being aggressive.
