Sacramento City Council bans loud speakers outside Planned Parenthood clinics

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — In 30 days, it will be illegal to use a loud speaker in front of Planned Parenthood clinics in the city of Sacramento. The Sacramento City Council Tuesday unanimously adopted an ordinance aimed at deterring harassment of patients and staff outside the clinics — harassment that has been on the rise since the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade last year.
