Special Olympics basketball players earn medals at state Seymour Tribune

WESTFIELD — Men’s and women’s basketball teams and individual skills athletes who qualified for the final Special Olympics Indiana basketball tournament of the 2022-23 season converged on the Pacers Athletic Center in Westfield. Among the competitors this past weekend were Jackson County’s Hurricanes women’s three-on-three team, Cyclones men’s three-on-three team and Owen Law in the individual skills competition. The Hurricanes didn’t have to win a sectional title to go to the state tournament due to the limited number of women’s teams around the state.
