Springfields Eastfield Mall to close in July Tenants rent will be waived while they search for new business location

SPRINGFIELD – Rent and utility payments for the small businesses being evicted from the Eastfield Mall will be waived until the mall closes in July to give owners some relief while they search for a new place to operate. Onyx Partners Limited, the development company which plans to purchase the struggling mall on Boston Road and redevelop it, announced he would provide financial relief by forgoing the collection of all rent and utility costs, according to an announcement from Mayor Domenic J.
