Swan Valley claims first win in postKennelly era

HEMLOCK, MI – Tara DeLine isn’t sure she has 43 years of coaching in her future. But for one game at least, she is undefeated as the new Swan Valley softball coach. The Vikings earned a 6-4 win Tuesday over Hemlock, giving DeLine a 1-0 varsity softball record. The second game was postponed by rain and high winds. The Vikings play their first home game of the season Thursday against Ogemaw Heights, weather permitting.
