Total closures of drawbridge in Grand Haven planned nightly this week

GRAND HAVEN, MI – Full temporary closures of the drawbridge in Grand Haven will occur nightly this week. The 15-minute closures will occur between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Monday night, April 3, through Friday morning, April 7, according to a notice from the Michigan Department of Transportation. The closures will impact both northbound and southbound U.S. 31 over the Grand River. They are needed to test work that has been done on the bridge, according to MDOT.
