BATTLE CREEK, MIch. — A Michigan woman died after she was shot by a crossbow on Sunday, authorities said.

According to a news release, Kori-Lee Moser, 44, of Battle Creek, was discovered by police who responded to a home. Moser was taken to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries, WZZM-TV reported.
Investigators said they did not know of a motive in the crossbow shooting, the Battle Creek Enquirer reported.
According to the news release, a suspect was arrested and booked into the Calhoun County Jail. That person is awaiting an arraignment hearing, police said.
