NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) — Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered Monday.
It was found along the roadway on East 1st Street, about a mile east of the Newton airport. Authorities say the body appears to be of a woman and was wearing a woman’s coat when it was discovered.
They are still in the very early stages of the investigation, and no other details have been released.
